The Lipscomb Lady Bisons ended last season as ASUN champions and made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014 and for only the third time in Lipscomb Softball program history. A cold autumn Saturday morning in November didn’t put down the high spirts of the runners for the fourth annual IDEAL Bison Boogie 5K. 2019-2020 Season Preview: Lipscomb Men's basketball starts with new head coach

The Lipscomb men’s basketball team will start its season with a different head coach and a lot of fresh faces Tuesday, Nov. 5, inside Allen Arena. Students respond to university crime report

The annual crime report for the 2018 year was released this month by Lipscomb’s Office of Security and Safety. The report shows that there was one reported rape on campus last year and that the criminal activity of burglary in on-campus housing had increased from one report in 2017 to five reports in 2018. The one reported rape on campus is alleged to have occurred in September 2018. The accused is former Lipscomb sophomore, Sam Salib. Salib was indicted by a grand jury in August on three coun

The annual Tennessee State Fair is underway only four miles away from Lipscomb’s campus at The Fairgrounds Nashville. The fair has a wide range of exhibits and shows that will be going on through this weekend. Some shows include racing barnyard animals, clowns, ventriloquists, wrestling, acrobats, and even a show about science. The NFL Draft is being held in Nashville this week for the first time ever. An estimated crowd of over 200,000 people attended the first round of the draft on Thursday. The NFL has taken over almost every inch of downtown. Lipscomb baseball played the Kentucky Wildcats Wednesday night at Dugan Field in a game that came down to a tough fielding play and a rough eighth inning for the Bisons. The Lady Bisons have been eliminated from post-season contention following their 69-53 loss to NJIT. Lipscomb turned the ball over 24 times which resulted in 36 points for the NJIT Highlanders. The Lady Bisons came into the game hoping to keep their A-Sun Tournament hopes alive by winning their next three games against ASUN opponents.
